The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson was held June 21, 2018. The event, created by the World Waterpark Association, serves as a platform to help the aquatics industry work together to build awareness about the importance of teaching children to swim to prevent drowning. On this day, aquatics centers and pools all over the globe hosted a swimming lesson to help spread awareness that #SwimLessonsSaveLives.
We would like to spotlight CommunityPass customer Summit Department of Community Programs for hosting The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson at the Summit Family Aquatic Center. In addition to the swim lesson, they also hosted a Safety Carnival. Summit had 85 participants who took part in the swimming lesson and visited their 10 safety partners. It was truly a successful event!
